Wisconsin Central / Algoma Central Page These are our rookie rail-fan pictures of the Wisconsin Central Railroad, taken by Jay and Nancy Ohman late February, 1999. Too bad the weather was overcast. We have found the Wisconsin Central - Upper Michigan, and Algoma Central - Ontario Canada stretch to be a potentially spectacular and limitless area to attempt to model. I have only been able to capture here a small portion of this region. The images below are organized from North to South. Let me note that I sure wish I had more time to make these pages prettier, and better optimize the image size and clarity. I would be interested in feedback about the
maps I created. This site is not endorsed in any way by Wisconsin Central Ltd or Wisconsin
Central System, and should be considered unofficial.

For those who were not aware, this locomotive was controlled by remote control. The engineer/brakeman (job title?) is back hanging on to the cars, setting brakes, and throwing switches. |
